Ruben Gallardo is a tuba player, educator, and private lessons instructor based in Houston, TX. Mr. Gallardo is currently pursuing a degree in Music Education at the University of Houston, where he studies tuba under Mr. Mark Barton.
Ruben has been active in the marching arts for several years, serving as a marching technician for programs such as Bridgeland High School and his alma mater, Paetow High School. As a performer, he has competed at the World Class level, marching in the contra line with Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps during the 2024 season.
In addition to teaching and performing, Mr. Gallardo is an active arranger, writing pep band stand tunes for the Paetow High School Marching Band and orchestral arrangements for the Lone Star College–Cy Fair Symphony Orchestra.
Outside of music, Ruben enjoys gaming, cooking, and cheering for his hometown team, the Houston Texans.
